In a claim that will surely shock millions around the world, Chris Eubank Jr claims that promoter Frank Warren jumped the gun when he announced a November 29 fight between Eubank and Billy Joe Saunders, saying that Warren is trying to rush him into a bad deal by announcing a fight that has not been signed.
Frank Warren has tried to force me into signing a contract without my lawyers being able to look at it entirely & agree on it.

He scheduled a press conference b4 the contract was even looked at properly to try & rush us into signing & agreeing on terms we don't want.

There's no deadline or rushing when it comes to my career. I'll sign once my management team has gone through & ok'd the contract completely

Eubank (17-0, 12 KO) still tentatively has a fight set for October 25 against Jez Wilson, and it did seem as though the bout with press rival Saunders came together pretty suddenly, and the two prospects are still at quite different stages. Saunders has dominated at domestic level, while Eubank has mostly faced fluff opposition to date.
If Eubank's claims are true, it would hardly be the first time that the promoter had announced a fight that wound up not happening. You'll perhaps recall Warren having a press conference with poster art and everything for a fight between Dereck Chisora and Deontay Wilder, with Warren later saying that Wilder's arrest in Las Vegas prevented the fight from happening.
