Diaz vs Hidalgo: Live streaming results and round-by-round coverage

It's a showcase night on FOX Sports 1, as Joseph Diaz Jr headlines with Fidel Maldonado Jr and Ricardo Alvarez featured on the undercard.

Tonight at 10:00 pm EDT on FOX Sports 1, Golden Boy Live! returns with a triple-header from Hidalgo, Texas, featuring super bantamweight prospect Joseph Diaz Jr in the main event at State Farm Arena.

The 21-year-old Diaz (11-0, 7 KO) will take on veteran Raul Hidalgo (22-11, 16 KO), a familiar foe at this level for several prospects in recent years, including Ivan Morales, Jose Lopez, Jessie Magdaleno, and Alberto Guevara. Diaz was a 2012 Olympian and one of the more talented fighters for the United States in those games, though the group as a whole seems better suited thus far for the pro game than the amateur ranks, which explains why we've got so many good looking prospects despite nobody winning a medal in London.

Diaz vs Hidalgo is scheduled for 10 rounds, Diaz's second straight 10-round fight.

In the co-feature, junior welterweight Fidel Maldonado Jr (18-2, 15 KO) will face Nelson Lara (15-5-4, 8 KO) in an eight-round bout, and Canelo Alvarez's brother Ricardo (23-3-3, 14 KO) takes on John Michael Johnson (31-9, 23 KO) in another eight-round junior welterweight fight in the TV opener.
