Marcos Maidana and Floyd Mayweather put on a hell of a show four months ago, and most fans expect them to do the same this Saturday, September 13th. The hype around the fight is the same we've been hearing for years: Floyd might be getting old and sick of boxing, while his opponent is hungry, heavy-handed, and Latino. The difference is that this time we've got proof that Maidana can give the undefeated Mayweather trouble, in the form of four or five rounds of vicious, reckless beating that Mayweather endured at the hands of his Argentine foe.
In this video I aim to break down the tools that both men used successfully against one another in that excellent first fight, and especially those which will likely be emphasized in both of their gameplans come the 13th. I don't know if Maidana can upset the champion, but like every other boxing fan in the world, I'm eager to find out.
