It's New Year's Eve, 2014. Guillermo Rigondeaux, true champion of the super bantamweight division, is defending his belt against a fringe prospect by the name of Hisashi Amagasa--it wouldn't be a mistake to call Amagasa a no-name, nor to call this bout a mismatch. Unfortunately, these are the bouts Rigondeaux must take in a division of talented fighters apparently uninterested in its most prestigious belt.
Surprises could be in store, however--Amagasa is as tough and bold as any of the great Japanese fighters of the past, and all Rigondeaux needs to put on an entertaining fight is a willing adversary.
Connor Ruebusch and Kyle McLachlan provide English commentary for this thrilling international contest, giving you all the context and commentary that you won't find anywhere else.
