Juarez vs Castellanos: Live streaming results and round by round coverage (January 26, 2015)

Rocky Juarez faces Robinson Castellanos in a pivotal fight for the veteran featherweights tonight on FS1.

Golden Boy Promotions

Tonight at 10 pm EST on FOX Sports 1 from San Antonio, the rejuvenated Rocky Juarez takes on Robinson Castellanos in something of a sleeper matchup between a couple of tough veterans likely in line for a WBC featherweight title shot with a victory.

Juarez (30-10-1, 21 KO) has won two straight fights after six straight losses between 2009 and 2012. In 2012, he beat Antonio Escalante by stoppage, and last May scored a mild upset over Rene Alvarado. At 34, Juarez holds the WBC silver featherweight title, and a win tonight could give him another chance to win a major world title. He's 0-4-1 in past world title fights at 126 and 130 pounds, his last change coming in 2009 against Chris John.

Castellanos (20-10, 13 KO) is a fighter whose talent exceeds his record. The 32-year-old Mexican started his career just 8-9 in his first 17 fights, and has gone 12-1 since December 2010, his only loss coming against Rene Alvarado in February 2014. He followed that up with a dominant win over Ronny Rios in October, stopping the then-unbeaten prospect in the fifth round.

Also in action tonight will be junior welterweight prospect Keandre Gibson (11-0-1, 5 KO) of St. Louis, who will take on Nelson Lara (15-6-4, 8 KO). Lara is 0-5-2 in his last seven fights, dating back to 2008.

Connor Ruebusch will be here with live discussion and coverage of the fights. Join him tonight!
