HBO Latino and Golden Boy are adding to what will be a packed fight week in mid-March, as they've finalized a doubleheader from San Antonio's Freeman Coliseum. In the main event, super featherweight prospect Francisco Vargas will take on Will Tomlinson in a 12-round bout, and the co-feature will see unbeaten junior welterweight Antonio Orozco against Emmanuel Taylor.

Vargas (21-0-1, 15 KO) is a 30-year-old originally from Tijuana, who competed in the 2008 Olympics for Mexico. He turned pro in March 2010, and has scored recent wins over Juan Manuel Lopez, Jerry Belmontes, and Abner Cotto.

Tomlinson (23-1-1, 13 KO), a 28-year-old Australian, rebounded nicely in 2014 after a setback in March, when he lost to Belmontes in Las Vegas. He scored a tune-up win in August in Mexico, and then beat Miguel Zamudio on December 4 in San Diego.

The more interesting fight may be the co-feature, however. Orozco (21-0, 15 KO) is 27 and originally from Mexico, now fighting out of southern California. His last three wins have all been against faded veterans -- Miguel Huerta, Martin Honorio, and Steve Forbes -- and Taylor (18-3, 12 KO) is an interesting step up. The 24-year-old fighter may be just 1-2 in his last three fights, but the losses came against Chris Algieri and Adrien Broner, and he gave Broner a lot tougher fight than most expected in September of last year. And between those losses, he got off the canvas and beat Karim Mayfield.
