Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux take center stage tonight at New York's Madison Square Garden, as "The Mecca of Boxing" is (officially) sold out for the HBO pay-per-view card, which will also feature the return of flyweight champ Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez against Brian "Hawaiian Punch" Viloria.
Golovkin (33-0, 30 KO) is the heavy favorite against Lemieux (34-2, 31 KO), but if ever anyone had a true puncher's chance, it would be the Montreal slugger, who is also the IBF titleholder and looks to unify with Golovkin's WBA belt. The two fighters are both promising an all-action battle, and given their styles, this isn't just talk. The co-feature, too, could be a fantastic fight, and one that some believe may steal the show.
Also featured on the card will be heavyweights Luis Ortiz and Matias Ariel Vidondo, as well as an IBF middleweight eliminator between Tureano Johnson and Eamonn O'Kane. BLH will have live coverage tonight, and here's how you can watch the fight.
