Premier Boxing Champions stormed through four shows last week from Tuesday to Saturday, and the ratings have come back in for the three cable shows.
On Tuesday, PBC on FS1 drew 192,000 viewers, which is right in line with what should be expected. It's a second-tier (or third-tier) PBC series and other than when they get major sporting events, FS1. The big cable sports draw for the evening was the Dodgers-Mets NLDS game on TBS, which drew 6.347 million.
On Wednesday, the ESPN show headlined by Devon Alexander vs Aron Martinez drew 428,000 viewers. The top cable sports event of the night was another MLB playoff game, with 5.944 million tuning in to FS1 for the deciding game between the Royals and Astros in the ALDS.
On Friday, 315,000 viewers tuned in for Fonfara-Cleverly and Kohei Kono vs Koki Kameda in the co-feature, with the show beginning at 9 pm EST. The show was up against a college football game between Cincinnati and BYU on ESPN, which did 1.468 million viewers. PBC couldn't compete with that. In fact, PBC couldn't even beat a repeat of the Cincinnati-BYU that ran from 3am-5am, which came in at 330K.
