During tonight's Pirates vs Cubs NL Wild Card game, there was a benches clearing, uh, disagreement between the teams. Pittsburgh first baseman Sean Rodriguez, who had started the game but been taken out before he could get an at-bat, vented some frustration on the field vocally -- later shown to be attempting to throw a shot at someone -- and when he went back to the dugout, he took out his anger on a Gatorade cooler.
Check out Rodriguez's combination shots:
Maybe if baseball doesn't work out, Rodriguez, 30, could give lower-level boxing a try, get on some Paul Spadafora or Rod Salka cards in the Pittsburgh/West Virginia area, do the Tom Zbikowski or Mark Gastineau thing.
Twitter had some mixed reactions to his display.
Good combination by Sean Rodriguez i think he will be more successful in boxing that baseball lol #wildcard

Sean Rodriguez should take up boxing decent combinations on that cooler

@scottchristBLH good hand speed. Maybe he's in wrong sport.

@scottchristBLH he was headhunting with the right hand on that Gatorade bucket. Should have mixed in a left to the body.
