It's on.
After a protracted series of negotiations, Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg are officially set to go. The pair signed the contracts live on Sky Sports earlier today, confirming a February 27th showdown in Manchester.
Both fighters are, shall we say, rather stoked.
FINALLY IT'S ON! Manchester, February 27th. Let's bring an army #FramptonQuigg

Frampton (21-0, 14 KO) took the IBF super bantamweight title from Kiko Martinez last year and has defended it twice, stopping Chris Avalos and getting off the canvas twice to outbox Alejandro Gonzalez, Jr. Quigg (31-0-2) smashed the aforementioned Martinez in two rounds earlier this year for his sixth WBA title defense, not including his time as an interim champ.
With Guillermo Rigondeaux now a "champion in recess," this will serve as a unification bout.
There you have it. No more talk, no more "will they or won't they;" these two are going to go at it. Who's coming out on top?
