IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook could have an early 2016 title unification fight with Timothy Bradley, stating the two sides are currently negotiating and closing in on a deal. Bradley currently holds the WBO world title, and Brook says he wants to prove he's the best welterweight in a pretty deep division. Adding some more belts to his name would be a great way to make that case.

"I'm an undefeated world champion and I want to be out there fighting the best in the welterweight division. That's how I'll prove I'm the best," Brook told the Sheffield Express and Star.

"When I tell people what I'm going to do, I always back it up. I think we are very close to making the Bradley fight and I'm excited."

If this fight does get signed and sealed, it would represent a huge opportunity for both Brook and Bradley to make even bigger names for themselves on the world stage. Brook says he wouldn't mind traveling to the U.S. to make the fight, so that could be one less hurdle in bringing this fight to fruition.

"I need this, something will get me more recognition and that means an opponent that will get the fans really talking about me.

"I don't mind where it is, I'd prefer it to be over here but I could get up for a trip to Las Vegas as well. It's a Catch 22 situation. Where does he want to get beat?"

I'm sure most fans would love this fight, but let it be known in the comments section! Who would you favor in this fight?
