Daniel Jacobs, who will be a guest analyst on the SHO Extreme broadcast of Saturday's fight between WBO middleweight titleholder Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders, says he's rooting for Andy Lee to get the win, simply because he would look forward to a big fight in New York against the Irishman.

"I'm excited for the winner of Lee vs Saunders," Jacobs said. "I'm rooting for Andy Lee because I think that's a bigger fight for me. Doing something in the U.S. between the two of us would make a lot of sense. He has a huge following here in New York, just like me obviously. It would be a classic showdown that Brooklyn would appreciate.

"May the best man win between the two of them, but if Andy wins I think it would be very interesting for both of us."

Jacobs (31-1, 28 KO) is coming off of a first round wipeout of Peter Quillin on December 5 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. The idea of him fighting the winner of Lee-Saunders is obviously in play, with Showtime picking up the fight in the hopes of showcasing the winner for a fight with one of their current top stars.

Lee (34-2-1, 24 KO) has also said he'd be interested in a fight with Gennady Golovkin should he beat Saunders (22-0, 12 KO).
