Jacobs-Quillin: Live Weigh-In, 1PM EST

WBA Middleweight Champion Daniel Jacobs will be putting his title on the line tomorrow night against Peter Quillin. Join us for the live weigh-in this afternoon at 1PM EST.

Wil Esco is an assistant editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2014.

Tomorrow night on Showtime Daniel Jacobs (30-1, 27 KOs) will be defending his WBA world title against Peter Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KOs) in what is anticipated to be an evenly competitive match-up. Both men have much mutual respect towards one another, but once the bell rings there are no friends in the squared-circle.

Some of the other notable fights that will also appear on the Showtime card will be Jesus Cuellar (27-1, 21 KOs) vs. Jonathan Oquendo (26-4, 16 KOs) in a 12-round WBA world featherweight title fight, and Chris Algieri (20-2, 8 KOs) vs. Erick Bone (16-2, 8 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight battle.

Everyone will be hitting the scales around 1pm this afternoon, so stop by and see if you can get any early insights as to how things will shake out tomorrow. At least some folks have doubts about whether or not Quillin will be able to make the 160lb weight limit, though I have no strong indicators to say he won't.
