Former welterweight titleholders Andre Berto and Shawn Porter are in action tonight on a Premier Boxing Champions doubleheader on Spike, and BLH will be here with live round by round coverage and immediate post-fight analysis of both bouts.

Berto (29-3, 22 KO) will face tough Josesito Lopez (33-6, 19 KO) in a potential barnburner of a main event. Both guys are generally reliable action fighters, but there is some question as to how they'll both perform after some setbacks in recent times. Lopez, 30, is stepping back up in competition after a couple of physically draining defeats against Canelo Alvarez and Marcos Maidana, as he's taken a few fights to get some confidence back, winning three straight.

Berto, 31, has had just one fight since a 2013 loss to Jesus Soto Karass, returning after shoulder surgery last September to beat Steve Upsher Chambers. It was a somewhat tentative performance by Berto, but understandable coming off of the injury, and against an opponent who didn't test him. Lopez figures to test Berto.

Porter (24-1-1, 15 KO) last fought in August, losing the IBF title to Kell Brook, and will face Erick Bone (16-1, 8 KO) this evening in what is a true last-minute opponent switch. Original opponent Roberto Garcia failed his physical yesterday, and promoters scrambled to find a new opponent to keep Porter in action. Bone, 26, answered the call, and has a big opportunity here against a fighter who has been inconsistent in the past. The 27-year-old Porter is looking to get back into contention and prove that the loss was just a loss to another good fighter.
