Kell Brook and Jo Jo Dan both made weight today for tomorrow's IBF welterweight title showdown in Sheffield, England, with the hometown Brook weighing in at 145½ and Dan at 146¼.

Brook (33-0, 22 KO) is making a delayed first defense of the title that he won from Shawn Porter last August, after a stabbing on holiday postponed a scheduled December fight. Brook, 28, is emerging as one of the top welterweights in the world, in what is a very crowded and talented division.

Dan (34-2, 18 KO) is no pushover, though. The 33-year-old Romanian, now living in Montreal, arguably should be undefeated, as his two pro setbacks both came against Selcuk Aydin in Aydin's home country of Turkey, and both fights were at least a little controversial in their scoring. So even though Dan is not considered an elite welterweight by any means, this is a quality fighter, and this could be a sleeper fight.

Live coverage of the full show will begin on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom at 3 pm EST, and Showtime will pick up coverage in the States for the main event at 6:15 pm EST. BLH will have coverage.
