Garcia vs Peterson weigh-in video: Main event ready, Quillin heavy but will fight

Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson both made weight, but Peter Quillin was heavy for his co-feature fight on tomorrow's PBC on NBC.

Peter Quillin stole the headlines at today's PBC on NBC weigh-in, but not in a way he would have liked. The former middleweight titleholder was scheduled to face Andy Lee for the belt that Quillin vacated last year (even if the show didn't acknowledge it), but that deal is off after Quillin missed weight this afternoon.

The fight, however, will go on. Lee (34-2, 24 KO) weighed in at the limit of 160 pounds, but Quillin (31-0, 22 KO) came in at 161.4 pounds. Quillin apologized after, saying he only blamed himself.

The good news is that the main event is just fine, and coming as advertised. No titles were supposed to be on the line, none will be, and both fighters made the catchweight of 143 pounds for the fight. Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KO) had to strip nude to do so, while Danny Garcia (29-0, 17 KO) comfortably weighed in at 142.2 pounds.

BLH will have live coverage tomorrow evening for the fights.
