Brandon Rios wants a Kell Brook fight in UK

Kell Brook mentioned his name, and now Rios is jumping at the thought of getting a Kell Brook fight.

Following Kell Brook's dominating win over Jo Jo Dan, Brook mentioned Rios' name, amongst a couple others, as those he'd like to fight next. As soon as Brandon Rios caught wind of it, he was all for the potential fight. Brandon Rios had his manager, Cameron Dunkin, reach out to Eddie Hearn to see if they can make the fight happen. He's even more than willing to travel into enemy territory to make the fight happen.

"I honestly don't know if he really wants to fight me, but he mentioned my name, and his promoter Ed Hearn mentioned my name and I accept the challenge. Let's do it!"

"Amir Khan is occupied and looking at somebody else so that is out of the question. Marquez is out hurt, injured and I don't know when he is going to be back in the ring. I'm available. If he wants to fight let's fight."

It's not so much that I'm terribly against the idea of a Brook-Rios fight, but I can't say it really intrigues me. It strikes as a fight that Brook should easily win on the scorecards. Kell Brook has really good boxing ability, and we all know that Brandon Rios can be out-boxed. Put those two things together and I see a less-than-dramatic fight where Brook probably couldn't knock Brandon out, but cruises towards a 12-round decision. That's just my take, anyway.

What do you all make of a potential Brook-Rios fight?
