Season 26 - Week 4 - BLH Pick'em Standings

While Matthysse-Provodnikov wasn't quite what we had hoped, Escandon-Flores and Chavez-Fonfara were probably more fun than many predicted making for an excellent weekend in the squared circle. And that's not to say Matthysse's victory wasn't great, but I think it's fair to say it didn't live up to our sky high expectations.

Because I can, I'm going to inject a little more of my humble opinion: I'd like to see Provodnikov retire. After making a name on FNF, he rose above that level which many projected would be his ceiling. He won a world title, made some dough, and made his homeland proud. But he's taken some frightful beatings, and it's the only way he knows how to fight. I used to pine for a matchup with Brandon Rios, but not anymore.

Anyhoooooooo....

A triple on the Fonfara was top pick of the week, and six of you cashed in. The big loser of the week was the converse—a triple on JCCjr—chosen by only one brave soul.

Weekly honors go to leo_solis who took home an impressive 62.5 points on a 5-for-5 week which included a triple on Matthysse and a double on Fonfara. Second place for the week goes to TheGunslinger27 who scored 51.5, in third was DerGergis with 43 points, fourth was swja.06 with 40.5, and KidSleez rounded out the top five with 39.5 points.

In the overall standings, Silkyjohnson001 posted another strong week and jumped from fifth to first with 118 points. Still in second is southpawn with 116.5 points. aldogg2121 falls to third with 111.5. TheDemolitionDan slides to fourth with 108.5. And kapital98 enters the top five with 98.5.
