All four main card fighters for tomorrow's PBC on CBS premiere made weight today in Montreal, and the light heavyweight doubleheader is good to go, with Adonis Stevenson set to defend his championship against Sakio Bika in the main event.
Both Stevenson (25-1, 21 KO) and Bika (32-6-3, 21 KO) came in at 174½ pounds for their bout, which will be for Stevenson's WBC title as well as the recognized lineal championship of the division. Bika, a former super middleweight titleholder, hasn't won a fight since June 2013, going 0-1-1 in a pair of bouts with Anthony Dirrell since then. This will be his first fight at 175 pounds. Stevenson has won 12 straight dating back to 2011.
In the co-feature, hot prospect Artur Beterbiev (7-0, 7 KO) looks to take another step toward a title shot against former titlist and veteran contender Gabriel Campillo (25-6-1, 12 KO). Beterbiev weighed in at 175 pounds, with Campillo at 174½.
The TV swing bout will feature junior middleweights Julian Williams (18-0-1, 11 KO) and Joey Hernandez (24-2-1, 14 KO), if time permits.
BLH will have live coverage tomorrow at 3:00 pm EST.
