We're just a few weeks away now from the long-awaited showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which will host the fight, is lit up in anticipation of the bout. From the Mayweather Promotions Facebook page:

Is anyone else surprised by how close this fight is? The hype is pretty tame, because for once, the fight sells itself. We've been talking about this for five years now, and finally it's happening. But I for one keep having to remember how close this fight is. There was no overly long period between the fight being announced and the fight actually happening, just one dual press conference to formally announce the fight, and otherwise it's just been minor stuff from the two camps.
Of course, though, that's about to change a little bit. Fight month is officially upon us at this point, and with the TV specials on HBO and Showtime coming our way, plus the usual huge media crush, there will be plenty flying about the fight. Part of me still just can't believe it's real. That's not Photoshop up there.
