Two middleweight southpaws be be squaring off on September 19th when Andy Lee (34-2-1, 24 KOs) defends his WBO middleweight title against Billy Joe Saunders (21-0, 11 KOs) in Limerick, Ireland. Lee won the title by stopping Matt Korobov last year, and drew with Peter Quillin this past April which left him in possession of the belt. 'Irish' Andy Lee is obviously and understandably excited to have to opportunity to defend his title in Ireland.

"As soon as I won the world title I wanted to defend it here," said Lee. "This is a global event and I'm proud to put Limerick on that stage and to bring an event like this to my city is an honor. It goes some way to repay the people who have supported me."

Saunders knows what he's getting himself into by taking this fight in Ireland, but says he already feels right at home there and plans to leave it all in the ring.

"I'm in his backyard and he's got the home support, but when I pulled up to the stadium, I got a homely feeling straight away. I've boxed in Ireland seven times now with seven wins and I aim to keep it going. It's going to take a lot to take the belt but I'm going to give it my all. Andy's the same as me and in the end it's going to come down to heart, determination and grit."

Lee packs a big heart and a mean right hook that has gotten him out of a few tight spots in recent bouts, but he's in for a real fight here. Who you do like in this match-up?
