Quigg vs Martinez, Abraham vs Stieglitz IV: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

Scott Quigg headlines in Manchester against Kiko Martinez, while Arthur Abraham faces Robert Stieglitz once again in Germany.

Scott Quigg returns to action today in Manchester to face former super bantamweight titleholder Kiko Martinez, and BLH will be here with live coverage. The Sky Sports broadcast begins at 2:00 pm EST and has a five-hour block, so as always, it's going to be a long card.

Quigg (30-0-2, 22 KO) is arguably taking a career-toughest test against Martinez (32-5, 24 KO), who has lost just two fights since 2009, both against Carl Frampton, Quigg's would-be rival. Quigg, meanwhile, has seen his career stagnate somewhat following a 2013 draw against Yoandris Salinas. Quigg has indeed won four straight since then, but the opposition has been mediocre, and this is a step up against a fighter who just last year held a world title.

Also, Darleys Perez (32-1, 20 KO) makes the trip to the United Kingdom to take on Anthony Crolla (29-4-2, 11 KO) for the WBA lightweight title. Perez, 31, has lost only to Yuriorkis Gamboa in 2013, and the Colombian was hardly blown away in that fight, either. Despite being the visitor, he should probably be considered the favorite in this fight.

Round 1: I'm in the path of severe weather so I'll note two things now: (1) I might not get through this fight without the power going out and whatnot, and (2) my attention might not be as good as it should be. Perez takes the opening round, just a bit more skilled in this round. Classy. Etc. Perez 10-9

Round 2: Perez's jab working nicely in this round, and he gets in a good uppercut, too. Perez to the body after Crolla goes down there. Everything Crolla does land, Perez seems ready to fire back immediately. There's an unanswered right to the body from Crolla. Big right catches Perez wide open and he's staggered! Perez hanging on to end the round. He got lucky that didn't come earlier. Crolla 10-9, 19-19

Round 3: Crolla looking a lot more confident after seeing Perez's legs shake in round two. Right hand clips Perez, and he's being pushed back now. Good jab from Perez gets in. Perez flat footed and targeting the body with arm punches. Crolla doing more to make Perez miss now, and Darleys is not as comfortable as he was before that big shot. Right hand from Perez is just short. Crolla working his jab now, but gets popped with one back from Perez. Perez getting wild throwing power shots that leave him so open to counters. Crolla working hard this round, Perez just looks a little off. Looping right from Crolla may have nicked Perez. Crolla 10-9, 29-28

Round 4: Perez looking a bit more recovered this round, but Crolla staying right with him. Winnable round with 30 seconds left in the frame. Jab from Crolla, Perez misses a lazy hook. Double jab from Perez, right hand is short. Wild hook misses again, that one from the waist. Perez with a right hand, another, and then an uppercut that gets in. Perez 10-9, 38-38

Round 5: Whatever Perez lost after getting rocked in round two, he has recovered. He's looking busier and more invested in his attack now. Crolla trying to dictate pace with the jab and doing a pretty good job of it, too. Perez landing some counter shots here and there. Uppercut gets through. Crolla really sticking to that jab. Left hook from Perez. Right hand from Perez but Crolla rolls away from it nicely. Good left hook from Crolla at the bell. Perez 10-9, 48-47

Round 6: First minute of the round is pretty even again. Perez trying to throw power shots, but Crolla ties him up without clinching, nothing lands. Nobody landing much of significance in the first half of this round, but both guys working. Perez strays a bit low, gets a quick warning from the referee. Crolla controlled this round well enough. Good fight so far, interesting stuff. Crolla 10-9, 57-57

Round 7: Crolla really staying on top of that jab, not giving up on that weapon at all. Mixing in a few more power shots now, not landing much of them. Perez with a right and then a body shot, and Crolla sways the referee to make another quick warning even through referee didn't see that shot go low (or at all). Crolla very busy which is suiting him well. Peppering Perez with little pot shots right now. Perez with an uppercut at the end of a combo, Crolla stays on top of him and keeps throwing. Perez whacks to the body. Perez has an argument this round, but I liked Crolla's work rate. Crolla 10-9, 67-66

Round 8: Crolla was cut under the right eye at the end of round seven, and Perez is coming alive a bit more this round, too, and may have cut Crolla under the other eye now, too. Crolla's jab still working, but Perez doing more now and upping his own output. Another competitive round in what has been a very competitive fight. Perez 10-9, 76-76

Round 9: Perez going to the body to start the ninth. Crolla potshotting, Perez missing a bunch. Crolla's activity wins this round for me. Storm hitting so I'm a little distracted. Crolla 10-9, 86-85

Round 10: I'm getting smashed by the storm right now. Perez takes this round with good early work, Crolla does recover nicely. Perez 10-9, 95-95

Round 11: Perez strays low again in this round and gets a point docked. He's been warned a few times, so it was time to take a point. I had Crolla winning this round, and the point off is big. Crolla 10-9, -1 Perez, 105-103

Round 12: Crolla continues to work his jab. Perez trying to find something big. Another shot that maybe strays low, totally accidental, and another point gone for Perez. Fight is functionally over. Crolla deserves this win, without question. Crolla 10-9, -1 for Perez, 115-111

Round 1: Martinez is putting the pressure on Quigg right away, just bulldogging toward the home fighter. Quigg looking to throw on the back foot, at least, digging at the body a little bit. Not a lot of real substance landing either way, but Martinez is definitely bossing the round and did clip Quigg with some looping rights and some good jabs. Martinez 10-9

Round 2: Quigg tags Martinez and he's hurt! Martinez is down! He's up but on bad legs. Quigg pouring on the pressure! Quigg throwing bombs with both hands! DOWN GOES MARTINEZ AGAIN! It's over! It's over! Scott Quigg TKO-2
