Nonito Donaire (34-3, 22 KOs) will be back at it on July 18th in Macau where he's set to fight Anthony Settoul (20-3, 8 KOs) in a 10-rounder. The fight will televised on UniMas and represent Donaire's second fight back at the junior featherweight division after getting beat down by Nicholas Walters last October. After that fight, Nonito noted that it was difficult for him to really compete against the top guys at the bigger weight so dropped back down a division and stopped William Prado in the second round in March.
This card in Macau will also be co-headlined by Jose Ramirez (14-0, 11 KOs), a junior welterweight prospect under the tutelage of Freddie Roach. Ramirez will be taking on Japan's Ryusei Yoshida (26-7, 13 KOs) in an 8-round fight that will open the televised broadcast. The undercard bouts, featuring fights between Cesar Cuenca and "IK" Lian Hui Yang for the vacant IBF junior welterweight title and Denis Shafikov facing off with Rex Tso, will be streamed live to the U.S. at www.toprank.tv starting at 6am EST.
