Move over Buster Douglas, your chances against Mike Tyson were far more favorable compared to what a number of odds-makers are setting the line at for Mayweather-Berto. Several bookmakers now have Mayweather as high as a 100-1 favorite against Andre Berto, heading into their September 12th bout.
Now I should probably defer to our odds guru Tom Craze to get more insight on some of these numbers, but it's clear that odds-makers and fans alike see Berto's chances here as nothing short of a Hail Mary. Though Mayweather insists that this will be his last professional fight, and surely a whimper to go out on, others are not so convinced. Even Shane Mosley's epic twitter account, when not going all #NoChill mode against some poor soul, suggests that Mayweather is working on a three-fight extension with Showtime.
Yeah. Uh no. He signing a 3 fight extension w/t Showtime according 2Espinosa #DontBelieveTheHype NOT his last fight https://t.co/XiQ1ywFWwg

This would be in line with many believe to be the case with Mayweather, using this retirement talk to set up his next several paydays, but only Floyd himself knows for sure. One thing I do know for sure, it's going to take a lot to earn a little betting on Floyd in this one...
