Lee-Saunders, a fight that was originally scheduled for September 19th, had to be postponed to October 10th and moved to Manchester after Lee caught a virus that's left him ill. This, unfortunately for Lee, means that he won't get the chance to defend his title Limerick - something he had been very enthusiastic about. Andy Lee's co-promoter Adam Booth provided this statement on the postponement:

"Obviously, Andy and I are gutted that this won't be taking place in Limerick. If the virus had cleared, then maybe it could have. However, after speaking with Frank [Warren], my partner in the event, we decided that the risk was just too great on many fronts. We now move forward with a new date, a new venue, and like Frank, I have had many great nights at the Manchester Arena and we are looking forward to another. "

It's being mentioned that a press conference is scheduled for Monday in Manchester where the remainder of the fight card will be announced, with the card supposedly featuring three world championship fights.
