Advance tickets for Golovkin-Lemieux are set to go on sale at 12pm EST on August 12th - for those eager to pony up. The two iron-first punchers of the middleweight division will be going head-to-head in a title unification bout on October 17th at Madison Square Garden, and has all the makings of a fan-friendly fight. Gennady Golovkin will be putting his WBA belt on the line against Lemieux's IBF title.

The fight will be broadcast live on HBO PPV and tickets to the event itself are being priced at $500, $300, $200, $100, and $50. Tickets can be purchased at the MSG box office or through Ticketmaster. The national press tour announcing the fight should kick off shortly.

As for the match-up itself, expect some fireworks early and often for as long as it lasts. Both men carry a wallop, but with Golovkin appearing to have the much better boxing ability of the two, though Lemieux has been improving in this department. And who doesn't love a great action fight?! The atmosphere for this one should be electric.
