IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby is the latest British boxer to sign with influential adviser/manager Al Haymon, following in the steps of fellow compatriots Carl Frampton, James DeGale, and Amir Khan. Upon making this announcement, Selby also made it a point to say that he would continue his working relationship with trainer Chris Sanigar.

"I'm delighted to have signed with Al Haymon and I'm looking forward to boxing in some massive fights ahead," said Selby.

"I'm also pleased to continue with Chris Sanigar, who's been with me since the start of my pro career. It's exciting times ahead and I can't wait for my first world title defence."

So, in what seems to be a growing trend, this move would appear to indicate that Selby is also looking to get more career exposure in front of American audiences - and he's now much more likely to get the chance to defend his IBF title in the U.S.
