After demanding satistfaction and a second fight with Mayweather, particularly after the IV story came out, Pacquiao seems to have had a change of heart and says he's okay with not getting another fight with Floyd. Partly, he's fine with this because he's focused on his congressional duties these day, and he's also fine with this because he knows he can't make Mayweather continue his career.
"Boxing is not my focus because I can only fight next year, to give my shoulder a rest," Pacquiao told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
"I'm OK. Whether there is a second [bout with Mayweather], it's not a problem," he said. "I heard he has retired, so it doesn't matter."
So with Mayweather now squarely out of the picture, Manny says he's willing to take on any other contender because, as he puts it, "I do not choose my opponents." No - that would be Bob Arum's job. But just for the sake of discussion, who would you most like to see Pacquiao fight in his return next spring?
