Adrien Broner's vow of media silence

After getting into something of a twitter war with ESPN's Dan Rafael, Adrien Broner has promised to go incommunicado with the media until after he wins the 140lb title against Khabib Allakhverdiev.

Adrien Broner held a presser yesterday as the official announcement of his 140lb title fight against Khabib Allakhverdiev, but the man only ended up uttering one word (which isn't even worth a mention). Instead, he had his assistant, dubbed "White Ticket", do the talking for him. It was a pretty awful presser, and Adrien Broner says that Dan Rafael is to blame.

After Rafael wrote an article for ESPN saying that Broner is being rewarded with another title shot after a poor showing against Shawn Porter, Broner got really pissed off and went on a twitter rant against ESPN's senior boxing writer.

Broner effectively ended his rant with the following tweet:

Rafael himself didn't much snipe back at Broner, but responded by saying "Love you bro." And once Broner's assistant made it clear at the presser that Rafael is the sole reason for Broner's vow of media silence, Rafael issued the following tweet.

I can only imagine what Broner will have to say if he wins this title, but I'm sure it'll be a quotable (for better or worse)...
