Klitschko-Fury: Full Press Conference

Well the Klitschko-Fury presser got a little weird, with some prepared theatrics by Fury to entertain the crowd.

Wil Esco is an assistant editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2014.

So Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury just held a press conference, one that was primed to go off the rails as soon as Fury decided to show up in a cheaply constructed Batman costume (one that, to me, looked a little more like that creepy rabbit from Donnie Darko).

When Fury was presented to the audience, some joker in the seats, who was actually dressed up as The Joker, shouted "Why so serious" before Fury jumped over the table and began rolling around the floor with the man. It was a little bizzare, with the two men staging this obviously planned ruckus that knocked a couple of Klitschko's championship belts off display - but this is Tyson Fury after all. Fury eventually detained the man and escorted him out the room.

Klitschko kept a rather stoic expression on his face during the festivities, waiting for Fury to finally come back into the room to speak his piece, but did manage to crack a couple jokes at Fury. When Fury returned, this time in plain clothes, he stated "Sorry I'm late, everybody. Commence the press conference."
