Josesito Lopez took to twitter yesterday to announce that he's joined forces with one of the top trainers in the game, Robert Garcia.
It's official! #TeamLopez and #TeamGarcia #Riverside Let's get it! http://t.co/fCAj3z8qKM

Lopez, who injured his hand during his loss to Andre Berto earlier this year, has reportedly been cleared to resume training and he's excited about what this new partnership with Garcia will bring. Despite having seven losses on his record, Lopez has been a pretty tough out for almost anyone he goes up against -- except for Canelo which was just a gross mismatch in size.
Josesito doesn't have any fights scheduled at the moment, but he's hoping to target top welterweights such as a rematch with Andre Berto or someone like Danny Garcia or Amir Khan. Obviously Khan is nearing a deal for a Spring 2016 fight with Manny Pacquiao, but Khan has indicated he wants to take another fight before the year is out. A fight between Garcia and Lopez would probably also be a fun scrap, but I'd personally like to see Danny take on a tougher opponent in his next outing.
