Bradley-Rios: The Lazarus Effect?

After the previous negotiations fell apart, Timothy Bradley and Brandon Rios appear to have come to terms to fight for Bradley's WBO welterweight title on November 7th.

Yes, I sort of stole the headline from that crappy horror flick, but it's fitting in this case. It has been a pretty interesting few weeks for Tim Bradley; talks of a welterweight title defense against Brandon Rios fell apart after the two couldn't come to terms on money, Bradley then surprisingly fired his longtime trainer in Joel Diaz, and now Bradley-Rios appears to have been risen from the dead.

Timothy Bradley will defend his WBO welterweight title against Brandon Rios on November 7th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, as confirmed by Rios' trainer Robert Garcia - so long as Tim Bradley signs on the dotted line.

"Team Rios has signed its side of the deal to face Tim Bradley on November 7 for the WBO Welterweight title in Las Vegas. (We are) Waiting for Team Bradley to sign and make it official," said Garcia on Thursday night.

All signs appear to indicate that Bradley will give this fight a green light and we'll be seeing what could turn into another slugfest if Bradley decides to mix it up again -- something he's shown an inclination to do and something Rios surely will want. Rios, for his part, is just itching to get back into the ring again after being unable to land a fight since stopping Mike Alvarado at the top of the year.

What do you think, fans? Do you love this fight?
