Bad Left Hook Podcast #15 (Jan. 15, 2016): Raphael Butler interview, news on Haye-De Mori, Wilder-Szpilka, more

Former pro boxer and current Bellator MMA heavyweight contender Raphael "The Silencer" Butler joins the show to talk about his upcoming fight and the transition between the sports, plus news on David Haye, Deontay Wilder, Oscar Valdez, and more.

HEY! It's Friday, and it's time for (late) podcast day! We had to move the schedule around to accommodate our guest for this show, as I got a chance to speak with former heavyweight boxer and National Golden Gloves champion Raphael Butler, who is now a contender in the heavyweight division for Bellator MMA.

Raphael discusses his upcoming fight with Tony Johnson on January 29 at Bellator 148, as well as how he got into the fight game, and how and why he's made the transition from boxing to mixed martial arts.

Along with the interview, I have some thoughts on David Haye's weight, the Showtime card for tomorrow night, Oscar Valdez's next fight on the Pacquiao-Bradley III card, Lucas Matthysse's move to 147, and Chris Eubank Jr's March showdown with Nick Blackwell.

Remember to subscribe on iTunes if you haven't already, and to force your loved ones to do the same. Thanks for listening! The show will return to morning postings on Monday.
