Mayweather talks return of Richard Schaefer, trolls Oscar De La Hoya

Floyd Mayweather was spotted with former Golden Boy executive Richard Schaefer and says the two have some big plans in store. He also sent a few shots in Oscar De La Hoya's direction...naturally.

After Floyd Mayweather was recently spotted with Richard Schaefer, the former Golden Boy executive, many wondered what the two have in store for the near future - now that Floyd is in full-time promoter mode and Schaefer's non-compete clause is due to expire.

"I seen Richard Schaefer...we talked," began Mayweather. "We're about to do some big things together, [I] look forward to working with Richard Schaefer. When we was walking and talking, that's what we were talking about...I can't wait for Richard to be back in the sport."

"It's good to work with guys like Richard Schaefer and Al Haymon, guys that's drug-free, guys that wear suits, guys that dress like men. And of course you know I'm sending shots at Oscar De La Hoya, 'cause I'm always sending shots at him 'cause I don't respect a man that dress in drag," Mayweather continued. "And he likes to send shots at me and say I'm a boring fighter, I like to run. Yup, I like to run right to the bank."

Floyd also took the opportunity to challenge De La Hoya's claims of being more successful in business.

"Oscar De La Hoya feels like he accomplished more than me and he got more than me, why don't we just see? I can take him to one account and show him $450M...and that's just one account...Now I'm asking Oscar, 'what can you show me?'" asked Mayweather, peering at the camera.

After Floyd goes on to say that when Oscar was fighting he was too stuck up to do interviews with a lot of media members, he takes aim directly at Golden Boy's stable, or rather lack thereof:

"All [Oscar] is banking on now is Canelo. And sh*t, if I come back in the game, Canelo, you already know what I did to you. And I can do it again if you get outta line...you already know what I say, 'you violate and I demonstrate,' and that's for all 49."

And so the blood fued between Mayweather and De La Hoya continues...

That aside, it will be interesting to see what Mayweather, Haymon, and Schaefer will cook up together. They have a long history of working closely together and seem poised to make up boxing's holy trinity (or unholy, depending on your point of view).
