Boxing fight times and TV schedule for Feb. 5-6

After a busy January, February kicks off with a bit of a whimper this weekend, though there are a few cards on around the world.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Friday, February 5

BoxNation (UK), 5:00 pm EST, World Series of Boxing: British Lionhearts vs Morocco Atlas Lions.

Estrella TV, 10:00 pm EST, Randy Caballero vs Ruben Garcia, Frankie Gomez vs Silverio Ortiz, Hector Tanajara Jr vs Clay Burns. Caballero is coming back after a long layoff following a title win at 118 pounds, and now fighting at 122 after missing weight for a November return. He hasn't fought since October 2014. Gomez, of course, had weight issues himself last year, but did fight around 150 pounds late in the year. He's still a top prospect, though one with question marks about everything but his skills. BLH will have live coverage.

Saturday, February 6

BoxNation (UK), 2:00 pm EST, Gary Corcoran vs Danny Butler, Jamie Kavanagh vs Antonio Joao Bento, Romeo Romaeo vs Michal Duefek. Kind of a showcase card in Dublin where nobody is matched very tough on paper.

Azteca (MEX), 11:00 pm EST, Carlos Ocampo vs Charlie Navarro, Jose Cayetano vs Roberto Pucheta.

Televisa (MEX), 11:30 pm EST, Juan Hernandez vs Jesus Silvestre, Mariana Juarez vs Noemi Bosques.
