Carl Frampton has just tweeted out that he and Leo Santa Cruz have come to terms for a rematch.

WBA featherweight champion Carl Frampton made history over the summer when he beat Leo Santa Cruz, taking his undefeated record, title belt, and becoming the first two-weight world champion hailing from Northern Ireland.

Now, according to Frampton, the he and Santa Cruz will go right back at it, having come to terms on an immediate rematch.

Their first fight in late July was a battle between two undefeated fighters and lived up to its billing. It was a competitive title fight but Frampton ultimately did enough to win a majority decision and claim the WBA belt.

And obviously, with Frampton just releasing word that the two sides have come to terms for a second helping, details on when and where the fight will take place have yet to be divulged. I’d expect those to be released sometime in the near future.

But tell me fans, after seeing the first fight, how do you feel about a sequel? Do you think the fight will play out any differently this time around?
