With the news that the Fury-Klitschko II fight off, Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn is hoping to strike quickly to line up a big fight for his rising star, IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Hearn says that he's currently working towards a Nov. 26th date for the prospective fight but admits that it could be held in December instead, if things come together. To that point Hearn suggests that the chances of the fight happening is 70/30, telling Sky Sports:

"I was with Anthony yesterday and it's definitely the fight he wants next. People say 'shouldn't that wait until the summer, shouldn't it be a stadium fight?'

"You can't work like that in boxing. When an opportunity strikes, you have to take it and I feel this is the right opportunity now."

Anthony Joshua won his world heavyweight title by quickly dispatching previous titlist Charles Martin in just two rounds this past April. Klitschko, of course, lost his world titles last year to Tyson Fury - but has since been eager to get a shot at redemption. If the Joshua-Klitschko title fight comes together, it should make for a rather intriguing match-up as Joshua has spent a good bit of time in training with Klitschko in past camps.
