WBC welterweight champion Danny Garcia is set to return to action on November 12th in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Garcia will be headlining a PBC on Spike card live from Temple University, a source has confirmed to RingTV.
Of course I know the question on everybody's mind is: who will he be facing? Well, he'll be taking on the infamous 'TBD.' So don't expect it to be a name that anyone's socks off, it'll more likely be someone for him to look good against. The silver lining here, though, is that this fight is expected to be more or less a tune-up for a title unification fight against fellow champion Keith Thurman in early 2017.
Thuman, who hasn't fought since defeating Shawn Porter back in June, isn't expected to fight again before taking on Garcia next year because of the strenuous nature of that fight.
Garcia, on the other hand, is most recently coming off a decision win against Robert Guerrero back in January where he won the vacant title which used to belong to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
