Keith “One Time” Thurman, the WBA welterweight champion, will be joining the announcing team for the Danny Garcia-Samuel Vargas fight this weekend. The fight will be televised as a PBC on Spike TV card with Thurman expected to be in a unification fight with Garcia early next year.

"I'm excited to be back calling the PBC fights this time on Spike and especially since it's my next opponent Danny Garcia. Danny I've got my eyes on you. It's going to be a great fight and Spike viewers will want to tune-in to hear what 'One Time' has to say," noted Thurman.

This should sort of kill two birds with one stone as Thurman, who has always appeared to be very thoughtful in his boxing analysis, will be able to scout Garcia up close and personal while also promoting the unification bout with Garcia at the same time.

Of course Samuel Vargas could upset the apple cart with a huge upset win over Garcia, but that just seems to be a long shot.
