Amir Khan is apparently having lots of fun at the WBC’s annual convention. After he recently stated that he’d be open to fighting Kell Brook, the current IBF welterweight world titlist, as a ‘tune up’ before heading into marquee fights, he then took to Twitter to take more shots at his domestic rival.
The 1st man to smash kell brooks face @GGGBoxing, standing with him is the next guy to smash Kelly brooks face! #ReadyWhenYouAre pic.twitter.com/ZBHA6JVS1o

Kell Brook is coming off a fifth round TKO at the hands of Gennady Golovkin who broke Brook’s orbital bone during the fight, which required surgery to fix. Meanwhile Khan himself appears to be still emerging from a punch-induced stupor courtesy of Canelo Alvarez. Canelo knocked Khan out cold in the sixth round of that fight, a fight that Khan insists he was winning at the time of stoppage despite that being factually inaccurate.
Glad you've woken up from your last KO, I believe our teams are talking I look forward to sending you back to sleep #QueenKardashion

One can only hope that both Khan and Brook finally end their years of back and forth barbs and finally opt to face one another inside the ring. It would be a huge event in the U.K., one which would also draw significant interest Stateside.
