Artur Beterbiev destroys Isidro Prieto in one

Beterbiev has fought twice each in 2015 and 2016.

Breaking news: Artur Beterbiev is still terrifying.

The light heavyweight slugger obliterated Argentina’s Isidro Prieto in under three minutes last night, easily overpowering the durable puncher en route to his eleventh knockout in eleven fights.

Beterbiev (11-0, 11 KO) flattened Prieto (26-2, 22 KO) with a counter right thirty seconds into the fight and never let up. Staying patient, he worked Prieto over with combinations before ultimately knocking him silly with a series of vicious punches in the waning seconds of the round. Prieto’s arm gave out from under him when he tried to prop himself up and, though he somehow made it back to his feet, the referee correctly stopped it.

Here’s the full video; enjoy it while it lasts.

Prieto isn’t a top-tier light heavyweight, but he gave Eleider Alvarez a good fight last year and is a tough sonofagun. To crush him like that is quite the accomplishment. Perhaps the scariest part, though, is the fact that Prieto actually managed to land a heavy right hand on Beterbiev and the Russian didn’t even flinch.

Hopefully, Beterbiev can stay healthy and free of promotional shenanigans in 2017. The man needs to fight for a title.
