The BBBoC has ruled that tomorrow night’s fight between Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte can go on, but Whyte’s British title will no longer be on the line.

The British Boxing Board of Control held an emergency meeting yesterday to discuss Dereck Chisora’s meltdown at the press conference where he hurled a table in Dillian Whyte’s direction. “Manners maketh man” the saying goes, and the BBBoC wasn’t at all thrilled with Chisora’s ungentlemanlike behavior.

The British commission ultimately ruled that they would allow Chisora’s fight tomorrow night against Whyte to go ahead, but ruled that Whyte’s heavyweight British title would no longer be at stake, as reported by RingTV.

Additionally, the commission opted to fine Chisora a £25,000 penalty along with another £5,000 fine for unspecified costs. They also issued Chisora a two-year suspended ban — meaning that if Chisora gets into any more trouble he’ll be banned from fighting in the UK for two years.

Lastly, the commission decided that it will be necessary to have both Chisora and Whyte weigh-in at different times today to avoid any more potential incidents. Luckily Chisora and Whyte will fight tomorrow to finally put their feud to rest.
