Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, the world flyweight champion and widely considered the best fighter in the sport pound-for-pound, will be back in action on April 23, again pairing up with Gennady Golovkin to provide a killer 1-2 punch on HBO.

Gonzalez (44-0, 38 KO) will be facing Puerto Rico's McWilliams Arroyo (16-2, 14 KO), it was announced on Friday, after previous rumors suggested Gonzalez would face Juan Hernandez. Arroyo, 30, is a dangerous puncher, and has a bit of a deceiving record, too. His prior losses came to Amnat Ruenroeng via split decision in 2014, and a four-round decision loss to Takashi Okada in Arroyo's fourth pro fight in 2010.

McWilliams' twin brother, McJoe, holds the IBF super flyweight title.

"I am very happy with this opportunity to fight for the world title again," Arroyo said. "We were confident that this fight would come and now is the time to continue training to bring this title to Puerto Rico. We know that Roman Gonzalez is a great fighter, one of the best today, and we will get in the best condition to win that belt. It is our dream to be world champions, my brother and I, and I know we will get it done."

Gonzalez said, "I want to thank God, Teiken Promotions, especially my father Mr. Honda, HBO, K2 Promotions, and my family, and my team for helping me once again obtain the opportunity to fight representing my country and my fans. God bless!"

HBO's Peter Nelson, a known advocate of Gonzalez and the man credited with bringing him to the network last year, added, ""We were thrilled that the sport's consensus number one pound-for-pound fighter Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez made his debut last year on the network and subscribers were able to see his incredible ability and personality. We are delighted that 'Chocolatito' will be once again be paired with a Gennady Golovkin event that will be featured live on HBO."
