Friday, February 26

TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm EST, Alan Isaias Luques Castillo vs Lucas Rafael Baez.

Telemundo, 11:35 pm EST, Miguel Cartagena vs Ricardo Rodriguez.

Saturday, February 27

Sky PPV (PH), 5:00 am EST, Albert Pagara vs Yesner Talavera, Mark Magsayo vs Eduardo Montoya. The Pinoy Pride 35 show from ALA Promotions also has Melvin Jerusalem vs Florante Condes, notably. It's a standard Pinoy Pride show, more or less. Pagara and Magsayo are both legit prospects at 122 and 126, respectively.

BoxingTV (RUS), 8:00 am EST, Evgeny Chuprakov vs Timur Akhundov. Super featherweight Chuprakov (on the right in the banner) is another legit prospect looking to make some strides in 2016. This matchup should be something of a sideways step for him.

Sky Box Office (UK) / SHO, 1:00 pm EST, Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg, Gavin McDonnell vs Jorge Sanchez. There's plenty more that Sky will be televising, too. SHO will have just the main event starting at 5:30 pm EST, and we'll be picking up coverage of that fight and the McDonnell-Sanchez bout on the undercard, since that's a WBC eliminator at 122 pounds. BLH will have live coverage.

huck afolabi 4 banner

BoxNation (UK) / RTL (DEU), 2:00 pm EST, Marco Huck vs Ola Afolabi, Cecilia Braekhus vs Chris Namus. This is the fourth fight between these two cruiserweights, all of them extremely close 12-rounders. Huck's won two and the middle fight went to a draw. Huck has home field in Germany once again, too. But these guys just put on good fights. It's been a quietly terrific rivalry from 2009-13, and continues now in 2016. Braekhus was the best women's fighter in the world the last we saw of her, which was in late 2014. BLH will have live coverage.

HBO, 10:00 pm EST, Terence Crawford vs Hank Lundy, Felix Verdejo vs William Silva. The main event isn't what anyone was hoping to see for Crawford, but Lundy is a capable and perhaps more importantly entertaining fighter who should at least make for some fireworks. This is Crawford's first main event in New York, and the live attendance will be expected to be carried by Verdejo, who already has a sizable fan base in the city. BLH will have live coverage.

SHO, 10:00 pm EST, Leo Santa Cruz vs Kiko Martinez, Julio Ceja vs Hugo Ruiz, Gerald Washington vs Oscar Rivas. A pretty nice tripleheader from Showtime, with Santa Cruz-Martinez a decent main event, if one with a clear favorite, and the Ceja-Ruiz matchup definitely one to tune in to see. The Washington-Rivas opener could give us a new contender at heavyweight, or at least put the winner firmly on that path. BLH will have live coverage.

TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm EST, Claudio Ariel Abalos vs Noe Gonzalez Alcoba.
