Santa Cruz vs Martinez: Fighters make weight, SHO doubleheader set

Leo Santa Cruz and Kiko Martinez are set for tomorrow night, as are Julio Ceja and Hugo Ruiz.

Showtime's doubleheader tomorrow night at the Honda Center in Anaheim is a go, as all four fighters made weight this afternoon ahead of the two world title fights.

In the main event, Leo Santa Cruz (31-0-1, 17 KO) will defend the WBA featherweight title against former super bantamweight titleholder Kiko Martinez (35-6, 26 KO) in a 12-round bout. Santa Cruz weighed in at 125 pounds, a pound below the limit, with Martinez weighing in just a bit heavier than the defending champion at 125.4.

In the co-feature, Julio Ceja (30-1, 27 KO) will defend the WBC super bantamweight title in a rematch against Hugo Ruiz (35-3, 31 KO). The two sluggers had a terrific fight last August, with Ceja winning the vacant green belt via fifth round TKO, with both fighters dropped in the contest. Ceja weighed in at 121.4 pounds, with Ruiz at the limit of 122.

BLH will have live coverage for tomorrow night's show.
