Guillermo Rigondeaux has James ‘Jazza' Dickens up next on Feb. 27th, in what will be his UK debut. But assuming that he wins, which is pretty much a foregone conclusion barring a stunning upset, Rigo isn't exactly sold on the idea that Carl Frampton or Scott Quigg will actually live up to their words.
"Frampton and Quigg are both cowards for finding ways to avoid the best in their division. We wait in anticipation to see if the winner of a great fight between them would step up and step in the ring with me, so the whole world can see who the best 122 pound fighter is.
"Fans should come see the real super world champion in Liverpool, as I'll be ready to put on a show and be in a position to happily knock out the winner, if either would even fathom the idea of stepping in the same ring with me."
Obviously both Frampton and Quigg said that they would be willing to face Rigondeaux next, with Frampton being slighty more non-committal by saying his team will ultimately decide the next best option for him, but will either of them actually do it? You tell me...
