Bad Left Hook Podcast #24 (Feb. 5, 2016): Canelo-Khan, Golovkin, more

Further thoughts on the Canelo-Khan announcement, plus new fights for Gennady Golovkin, Abner Mares, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Nonito Donaire, and more.

HEY! Podcast day! Friday!

Flying solo again today, as I've had a couple of days to really consider the stunning Canelo Alvarez-Amir Khan announcement. I give YOU my valuable thoughts on the matchup, plus the event, which are different things. Also thoughts on the multitude of fights announced in the last few days, including Gennady Golovkin vs Dominic Wade, Abner Mares vs Fernando Montiel, Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Jazza Dickens, Nonito Donaire vs Zsolt Bedak, and more.

Today's episode is a bit shorter than some, but I did have some things to talk about, at least. It's been a weird, wild week. Wacky stuff. An unusually large surprise and then a bunch of lesser but still noteworthy items. But with a lack of fights this weekend or even next weekend, that limits what there is to talk about. Next week should be interesting. I doubt there will be an Andre Ward-Erislandy Lara announcement or anything.
