After several dates had already been rescheduled, Premier Boxing Champions is now set to return to ESPN in June, according to ESPN.com. No exact dates have been given and no fights are yet set, but June is the target date.
PBC, which also runs cards on CBS, NBC, FOX, Spike, FS1, and Bounce TV (I think that's all of them for now?, ran seven shows last year on ESPN, varying in quality. The series replaced the long-running Friday Night Fights, which ran weekly from January through August on ESPN2, usually featuring prospects and fighters from smaller promoters.
The PBC on ESPN return was originally set for January of this year, then moved to April 2, with fights to air on ABC, and a second card slated for April 30 on ESPN. Cards for May 7 and May 20 were also scheduled at one point. But the series' second season, as it were, has again been pushed back. We'll see if this one sticks.
