Shawn Porter vs. Lanardo Tyner: Full Exhibition Match

With Shawn Porter's next fight being postponed by Keith Thurman's injuries, he decided to hold a 12-round exhibition show instead on the originally scheduled fight date.

The much talked about fight between Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman got its reschedule date in June, but Porter, who had already been in training, decided that he still wanted to put on a show on the originally scheduled date of March 12. So after announcing his plans to hold an exhibition match against Lanardo Tyner at the Porter Hy-Performance Center in Las Vegas, FightHub caught video of the sparring session.

You don't have to watch the whole thing to realize that Porter is looking really sharp heading into his big fight against Thurman. In this exhibition match he's looking both quick and strong with both hands. In particular he's throwing a good jab early and often, mixing in body punches, and doubling up on his uppercuts. He doesn't appear to take it too easily on Tyner, who didn't exactly do himself many favors here, but Porter's game seems to be rounding out quite nicely for a "football player."
