Premier Boxing Champions is piecing together it's Spring and Summer schedule that will be spread across its various networks, with one of the fights being a rematch between Erislandy Lara and Vanes Martirosyan. The fight is still in the midst of being finalized but is reportedly targeting a June date.

WBA junior middleweight titlist Lara (22-2-2, 13 KOs) fought Martirosyan (36-2-1, 21 KOs) to a technical draw back in 2012 after a bad cut over Martirosyan's eye, caused by an accidental headbutt, forced the fight to be halted in the ninth round. At the time of the stoppage judges rendered scores of 86-85 for Martirosyan, 87-84 for Lara, and 86-86.

Lara has gone 5-1 since that fight, with his sole loss coming by way of a contentious split decision loss to Canelo Alvarez in 2014. He most recently forced a third round TKO stoppage over Jan Zaveck last November.

Martirosyan has gone 4-2 since his meeting with Lara, dropping decisions to Demetrius Andrade in 2013 and Jermell Charlo this time last year. He most recently defeated Ishe Smith via majority decision last September.
